About Peopl’d

Peopl’d is the HR system you talk to. There’s no interface to learn, no database to navigate, no forms to fill in. Just a conversation that knows your company.

Type what you need and it appears — a contract, a policy, an offer letter, a rejection email. Ask who’s on probation this month and it tells you. Want to know what needs your attention this week? Peopl’d tells you before you’ve thought to ask.

Everything is drafted from templates kept current by employment counsel.

Why we built it

Most founders don’t think about People Ops until something goes wrong. A contract dispute. A hire that falls through. A policy that doesn’t exist when you need one. By then, it’s expensive — in time, money, and trust. We built Peopl’d to get ahead of that.

What “Operating System” actually means

Most HR software is a tool: a place to store things, a workflow to run, a form to fill in. You go to it when you need it, and it does one thing.

An operating system works differently. It knows the state of your company — who’s in, what’s been generated, what’s changed — and it grows with you. You don’t configure it or learn it. You talk to it.

That’s what Peopl’d is built to be. Not another tool to manage. The layer that holds your people operations together — from your first hire to your first People hire.

Built AI-native, not AI-retrofitted

Most HR platforms were designed around forms, menus, and databases — then bolted on an AI assistant once it became table stakes. Peopl’d was built the other way round. The conversation is the product: you type what you need in plain English, Peopl’d generates it, you review it. There’s no interface to learn because there isn’t one — there’s just a conversation.

How we keep it compliant

Peopl’d templates are drafted in partnership with UK employment counsel — not auto-generated by AI on the fly. AI handles document generation from those pre-reviewed templates, populating your specifics. Humans review every template before it ships, and we update them as UK law changes. You get the speed of AI without the risk of AI inventing employment law.
